Mrs. Self

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 2013 with a degree in Special Education. My teaching certificates are Special Education EC-12 and Generalist EC-6. Upon graduation, I was hired as the SUCCESS teacher for Donna Shepard Intermediate School. This year I am the 5th and 6th grade Math Co-Teacher.

While in college I worked at a private school for children with learning disabilities for seven years. I have been in the special eduaction field since graduating high school and would not change it for the world.

I am married to a Fort Worth Firefighter and we are anxiously expecting our first baby this December. His name is Boyd. In addition to Boyd, we have two dogs, Indy and Sully.
